MetWatch
for MS-Windows (95,98,ME,NT) is a software system for the presentation, visualization
and evaluation of surface meteorological reports and aerological reports in the
operational weather watch.
Our potential users are those with a professional or scientific interest in weather.
The user of MetWatch should at least have a good basic knowledge of meteorology.

MetWatch
consists of two programs:
- FMdecode
for decoding of WMO-coded reports of surface-observations
(FM12 SYNOP, FM13 SYNOP SHIP, FM14 METAR and FM15 SPECI) and of
aerological observations FM35 TEMP FM36 TEMP SHIP(TEMP).
- MetWatch
for visualization and evaluation including two components
SYNOP: surface observations
TLOGP: aerological observations using charts and thermodynamic diagrams.
The possibilities of MetWatch vary with respect to the licence:

- Global maps in polygon-presentation
- Selected maps in .BMP-Format
- Worldwide climatological data (Monthly means) of 700 selected stations
- Production of formatted lists (ASCII and HTML)

Additional features of the PRO-Version:
- Simultaneous decoding and data presentation in a network environment
- Extended features of graphical presentation
- Possibility to save multiple program settings
